QUANTONIUM OF NO SOLACE: Brief history of an extraterrestrial element.
Recently we've seen an rapid increase in secret government discussions of an element called Quantonium. You won't find it on any periodic table, and most physicists would deny its very existence. But one alarming government document refers to it at "the most powerful element in the universe."

In fact Quantonium seems to exist in only one place on Earth - Pacific Monster Island. An internal geological reference document created by the CIA outlines the history of a PMI, describing it as the result of an ancient meteor crash - a meteor made of 98% Quantonium.
In separately uncovered documents, a government-contracted R+D firm has been working with Quontonium to test its weaponizable effects on biological organisms. Although conclusions have not been drawn, it is confirmed that the radioactivity can "expand, strengthen, and multiply living cells."
The new information pertaining to shadow geology sets a conspirator's mind ablaze. Could a meteor that big have landed without creating massive destruction? What effect would Quantonium have on an evolutionary population living on such an island? Confirmed reports at PMI have told us thay a giant mutant grub lives there -- could Quantonium be responsible for giganticism and any number of other mutations?
There is an even more terrifying conclusion to be drawn from documents. If Quantonium is indeed an ultra powerful materials, and other alien civilizations are aware of it, such a deposit on Earth might be attractive to extraterrestrials. Who knows what may come from the sky to harvest this element!

I don't think it had to be that big. I was thinking that it was a smaller meteor that set off an underwater volcano, that then bubbled to the surface, creating the island. A process that normally takes thousands, if not millions of years. If the power of "Quantonium" is as it is described above.

Dan, I don't think that is wrong at all. I think it is as beautiful as any sculpture I've ever seen. I would put it in my backyard, looks like it would be fun to climb on.
