I have a problem with science "fiction."  A big one.  If you convince enough people that extraterrestrials are the realm of fantasy writers then who will believe someone sounding the alarm bell when the real ones arrive?  The government and the media are colluding to make the public think that these stories all belong in the pages of fiction novels at your local store.

I decided to go to the World Science Fiction Convention and show our viewers exactly what I am talking about first hand.

    There is a lot of evidence that the mainstream media is complicit in participating in coverups and conspiracies with the government. I would like to see more independent journalism take them to task. Why is it such a stretch to imagine that they would also be complicit not just in the news but also entertainment. Not so far fetched to me.

    Much like video games leaving us only marginally prepared for combat, scifi does little to prepare us for what's REALLY happening.

    But who knows. Maybe we shouldn't be so suspicious, maybe we should be more suspicious. It's hard to say. All those people in Independence Day got fried for welcoming the evil aliens, but then again firing the first shot might doom us to worse.

    It is widely known that video games train our children to be spacefaring mercenary soldiers in the employ of aliens who can't (or won't!) sully their hands (tentacles?) with the grunt work of kicking ass and blowing stuff up.
